Wildlifeless Final Shot

At long last, we shot the final shot of Wildlifeless tonight. A simple object spinning in the air. It seems so simple, but it's held us up, if only mentally, for quite some time. By this time next week, we should have a locked picture.

What can I say? The movie felt done to me a while ago, but it was definately good to get this shot's addition into the film.

Can't wait to watch this thing from beginning to end.

So, uh, we gonna sell tickets to this thing or what? I feel so emotionally entwined over it that I think we need some kind of recompense.

Also, I've begun to contemplate what people will think. Especially local people. Will this "long awaited" short be our 2046 or Waterworld?

Wow, it's a really good movie. I like it a lot. It's funny and simple and well cut and well shot...and it's just entertaining. Which is nice. And it makes a specific point about something people need to be aware of.

You've seen the trailer, right?

I don't believe so.

The old teaser is at:

Right now we have the picture locked for Widllifeless. We've got to record the dialog over, do all of the sound design and special effects, and have an original score written.

I guess I have seen the trailer. It's past Autumn at this point, though, isn't it. Maybe not in the technical sense, but definitely in spirit. On with it!
